And The Winner Is.....

Friday the 13th saw the annual awards evening for Haddenham United held at the Sports & Social Club.

A relaxing evening was enjoyed by all who attended and following the buffet provided by the supporters club the serious business of finding out who had won what got underway.

First up were the reserve team awards.

Top Goal Scorer went to Craig Bryson, with youngster Cain White scooping the double with the Young Player and Managers Player of the year as chosen by Reserve team manager Craig Newman.

The final Reserves award was the Players Player which after a very close vote went to Matt Goodall.

Following a vote of thanks to everyone who has played a role in the club this year Chairman Alan Lewis then moved onto the first team awards.

Adam Rowley was the winner of the Top Goal Scorer, getting a special mention for his winner in the recent cup final at Tring, underlining the impact he has had in his first season back at the club.

Young Player of the Year went to Matt 'Barry' Tatum with goal keeper James Morris, picking up the Managers Player of the Year trophy.

The Players Player of the Year also went to James Morris, making him the winner of three different awards in his two years at the club (he's only missed out on Top Goal Scorer!).

As well as thanking all the 'behind the scenes' workers the Chairman also presented the ladies of the supporters club with vouchers bought by the players to thank them for their work through the season.

The final award of the evening went to Club Secretary and reserve team stalwart Steve Nunn in recognition of all the work he has done through the season.

The evening wrapped up with good news of new kit sponsorship deals for both teams for the 2011 / 2012 season as well as new goals which will all help Haddenham build on the success the club has had this year.

Congratulations to all the award winners and a massive thanks to all the supporters of Haddenham United!
