Haddenham United Football Club currently has 2 teams for the 2011 / 2012 season, a First Team and a Reserve Team, who both play in the Aylesbury District League. The First Team are currently in Division 1 while the Reserves play in Division 3.
After a couple of seasons of rebuilding the first team were promoted as runners up in Division 2 in 2010 / 11 and last season and also were winners of the Sheffield Jackman Cup.
As well as the ADL, the Club also competes in various local cups. Apart from the cups associated with the Aylesbury District League, Haddenham also enter the Oving Villages Cup, reaching the semi final laste season, and the Berks & Bucks County Cups.
The club has a number of devoted Committee members who help run the club, and the club is host to some of the best facilities in the area for a club of its size. The club house is also the envy of the area due to the recently extended Sports and Social Club and the excellent changing facilities.
The club has a good atmosphere that is created by the friendliness of the club and social activities of the players. We hold several social functions throughout the year including an Annual Dinner and Dance, 5-a-side Tournament, Horse Racing Days, Quiz Nights, Karaoke's and Disco's.
Haddenham United may be only a village side competing in a local league but the club has the potential to further itself and raise its status due to the attitude and commitment of both its current committee and its players.
